Pritish Nandy Communications and Motion Pixel Corporation sign with North American music label, Bilz Music for upcoming animated blockbuster EKEH version 2.0

Pritish Nandy Communications, leading Bollywood Studio and its partner Motion Pixel Corporation, one of the premier independent animated studios in the Americas announced today that the group has signed a deal with leading Urban/Pop record label Bilz Music. PNC Chairman Pritish Nandy, MPC Chairman Manny Bains and CEO & Label Manager of Bilz Music, Vishal Urva made the announcement.

The agreement will see Bilz Music sensations The Bilz (DJ Vicious & Master-D) along with their R&B Pop artist Kashif, license their hit songs O Meri Rani (Spanish Fly) and 2 Step Bhangra to EKEH version 2.0 starring Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan, Koena Mitra, Kay Kay Menon and others.

The Bilz and Kashif have been nominated for a number of awards and recently took home the Best Dance Video of the Year Award at the 2007 Bollywood Music Awards moving them to the top of the music charts in North America and massive popularity worldwide. The duo has earned a spot in Myspace’s Top 10 Canadian Artists and gained over a half-million views on Youtube for both their videos. Their radio success has helped them hold the #1 spot for 3 consecutive weeks on MTV Desi. The Bilz and Kashif are the first to break down barriers and push South Asian Urban music to mainstream audiences in North America. They risked going head on with platinum selling artists like Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake and charting #3 on local Canadian radio.
